Introduction to the Diversity Resources

In 2004, only 20% of U.S. computer science Ph.Ds were awarded to women.

This startling statistic is one of many that suggest a pressing need to recruit, retain, and graduate a more diverse student body in science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM). To aid in this effort, we have developed a set of resources designed to foster the success of all students. The following are excerpts from these resources. We hope this introduction will pique your interest in the CIRTL Diversity Resources. Please contact us with any questions or comments.
