The Graduate School at the University of Colorado, Boulder, networks with several national initiatives on the doctorate, including the Carnegie Initiative on the Doctorate, the Preparing Future Faculty Program, and the Responsive PhD. Our Graduate School supports the Lead Graduate Teacher Network(recognized as an exemplary program by the Woodrow Wilson Foundation’s Responsive PhD Project) with leads in 17 STEM departments. Our Department of Chemistry represents one of 19 university partners in the Carnegie Initiative on the Doctorate. Both projects support graduate students’ professional development as teachers and researchers. Our poster demonstrates how the Graduate School supports the success of these programs.
