Using detailed and rigorous methods, this program explores main open challenges in engineering education (oral and written communications, learning-to-learn, relevance, retention, women and minority participation, etc.) at the BS and MS levels.

We plan to incorporate many ideas that have matured from successful curriculum reforms throughout the nation and execute them in new and interesting ways. The proposed project-oriented curriculum represents a revolutionary approach because students will be allowed to engage design-oriented course early and throughout their undergraduate and graduate careers with industrial guidance.
