Instructions for Submitting Program Overviews (Deadline: October 21st)

CIRTL will create a web-based database of overviews of university programs for preparing STEM graduate students in teaching and learning. The audience for these overviews are colleagues at other universities interested in learning about and adapting successful programs.

Here we provide instructions and a template for submission of these overviews.

1) Template Page 1: Provide basic information.

2) Template Pages 2-4: Create text, one for each of 3 themes. Please be concise, with a maximum (not a goal!) of 500 words for each theme.

3) Save and title your document “University_Name_N”, where N is a count number and is only needed if your university will be submitting more than one Featured Program.

4) E-mail your document to Forum2003@cirtl.net by October 21, 2003.

Questions for each theme are provided for you to consider in creating your text. These questions are meant as a guide to align the contributions from a wide array of universities, but are not intended as a constraint. If you prefer, you need not provide text for every theme; we will post whatever you choose to provide.

If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us at Forum2003@cirtl.net or by phone at 608-262-9174.
