What: Eleventh Annual STEMES Conference

Where: Howard University, Washington, D.C.

When: Tuesday, June 12th - Saturday, June 16th, 2007

Why: To provide an opportunity for non-tenured faculty members, post-doctoral associates and academic-track Ph.D. students to strengthen their preparation as college teachers in science, engineering and mathematics. Participants will have the opportunity to meet nationally-recognized experts in teaching and learning for science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM).

Cost: Accepted applicants agree to pay $1500 for participation in the 2007 STEMES Program. Cost includes double-occupancy lodging, some meals, conference materials and daily travel from the hotel to Howard University. Single-occupancy rooms are available for an additional $200. If you wish to stay in a single-occupancy room, please note this in your application.
