Survival Tips for female graduate students in STEM fields

Career Development Opportunity for BIOLOGY POSTDOCS

Postdoctoral scholars in any field of biology are invited to apply for FIRST IV, a professional development program funded by the National Science Foundation that will prepare them for the teaching component of their career. Participants will attend two, 4-day workshops during summers, one in 2009 followed by another in 2010, at a regional field station (locations and dates linked below).

CIRTL Network Professor Michael Klymkowsky Elected AAAS Fellow

The University of Colorado at Boulder announced on December 18, 2008 that Professor Mike Klymkowsky was elected a 2008 fellow of the American Association for the Advancement of Science. Professor Klymkowsky teaches the CIRTL Network course "Teaching and Learning Science: Changing Student Misconceptions." (Previous post about class.)
