CIRTLCast Series


Each month CIRTLCasts sessions will focus on different themes in teaching and learning in STEM higher education. The 2015-2016 CIRTLCast series will take place on Wednesdays at 1:00-2:00 ET/12:00-1:00 CT/11:00-12:00 MT/10:00-11:00 PT. The series will start on September 9, 2015 and will end on April 27, 2016.

The 2015-2016 CIRTLCast series covers the following monthly themes:

  • September 2015: Effective and Inclusive Research Mentoring, organized by Cornell University
  • October 2015: Critical Thinking in the STEM Classroom, organized by the CIRTL Network's main offices
  • November 2015: Career Development, organized by University of Texas at Arlington
  • December 2015: No Sessions
  • January 2016: Assessing What Students Are Learning, organized by Cornell University
  • February 2016: Active STEM Teaching, organized by University of Houston
  • March 2016: Creating an Inclusive STEM Research Environment, organized by University of Rochester
  • April 2016: Creating an Inclusive STEM Teaching Environment, organized by University of Rochester
