How to Create a Page
A page is a static content web page. Pages should be used to post content that you do not anticipate changing regularly. While other Cafe users can comment on your pages, a page will not typically be used as a platform for dynamic discussion.
1.) To create a page you must be logged into the cirtl.net site. Once logged in click the "Create Content" link which is in the right-hand box labled with your username that appears on every cirtl.net page. The next page that appears will show you various kinds of content that can be created. Click the link that says "Page" or choose a more appropriate kind of content page based on your needs.
2.) Create the body of your page in the text box.
3.) *OPTIONAL* You may select filtered or full HTML for your page. Filtered HTML allows the use of certain HTML tags within the text. If you are not familiar with HTML coding, you can use the “full HTML” option.
4.) *OPTIONAL* You can attach multiple files to your page. The files will be displayed in a list at the end of the blog post; people can click on them to download them.
5.) *OPTIONAL* Before submitting your page, there is an option to give your page a unique URL path (such as mypages/pagename). Click "URL Path Settings" to display and edit your blog entry's URL. Although not required, this is useful for creating easy-to-remember, user-friendly URLs.
6.) Click the “Save” button. You may preview the page if you wish.
7.) To access your pages, click on "My Account" in the top right-hand corner of any page. Then click on the "Track" tab and here you will be able to see and track all the content you've created on the cirtl.net site by date created in descending order.
