Klukas Visiting UC Boulder with CIRTL Network Exchange

Jeff Klukas is visiting University of Colorado at Boulder as part of the CIRTL Network Exchange program where graduate students  have the opportunity to give teaching-as-research and disciplinary presentations at network institutions.

Klukas, a physics graduate student from UW Madison, presented his TAR research in a talk entitled Making Group Work Work, on Wednesday April 21 and on Thursday April 22. He discussed the development of a workshop focusing on teaching TAs how to facilitate cooperative group work and the subsequent assessment of the workshop’s effectiveness. On Monday April 19, he presented a disciplinary talk in physics entitled High Energy Physics Talk: Looking for WZ Resonances at CMS.

This is the second in this springs new Network Exchange program.
