Online, Bigger Classes May Be Better Classes

Interesting article from "The Chronicle of Higher Education" about the impact of opening up a classroom to people who are not registered for the class - many of which are not even students, but professionals wanting to learn more about the subject. There are many things that a teacher needs to consider if they want to attempt this, including issues dealing with student privacy and classroom control.
