AbstractThe purpose of the study was to examine how first-year engineering students’ views on the social impacts of the engineering profession change throughout their first semester. Survey data from an introductory engineering class was recorded at the beginning and end of a semester and subjected to sophisticated statistical analysis to identify exactly how students’ views changed through time.
