Madison Teaching and Learning Excellence is hiring a 50% Program Coordinator

The individual in this position will work closely with the Program Directors to build and maintain this network by supporting and coordinating all the administrative aspects of the program, including the enrollment of faculty, coordination of fund transfers, and oversight of major event planning and logistics. This person will interface with dozens of campus units and therefore must be able to be a positive representative for the program, its goals, and participants. Flexibility, independence, and creative problem-solving are as important in this position as planning and follow-through.

Managing Director for Elon University’s Center for the Advancement of Teaching and Learning.

The Managing Director will work closely with a wide range of University constituencies, including the Directors of General Studies, Writing Across the University, and Teaching and Learning Technologies, as well as with deans, departments and interdisciplinary programs, and faculty at all phases of their academic career. The Managing Director will hold a full-time 12-month position starting June 1 and will report to the Assistant Provost for Teaching and Learning/Executive Director of the Center for the Advancement of Teaching and Learning. S/he should expect to teach one course per year and will be eligible for a faculty appointment in an academic department at Elon.
