Jennifer Knight is a Senior Instructor in the Department of Molecular, Cellular, and Developmental Biology at the University of Colorado at Boulder. Jennifer works in two main areas; course transformation and science education research. She has been using and encouraging others to use interactive techniques in biology courses for more than 4 years. In particular, she focuses on the use of learning goals, group work, clickers, in class problem solving and "just in time teaching." Most recently, she has been studying how non-majors and majors learn genetics.
