Developing Broader Impact Plans for the NSF Graduate Research Fellowship Applications

On October 20th, Chris Pfund and Kristyn Masters from the Delta Program at UW-Madison led a workshop for more than 100 graduate students applying to the NSF Graduate Research Fellowship Program (GRFP) on October 20, 2011.  This annual two-hours workshop introduces potential applicants to the broader impact criteria and allows them time to review successful GRFP applications.  Workshop participants learn about ways to develop effective broader impact plans and more importantly, how to leverage programs like CIRTL to build the capacity they need to implement those plans. CIRTL Collaborates with American Physical Society on Mentoring Curriculum

Delta Expeditions in Learning adapted for faculty professional development at MATC

On January 7th 2009, the newest collaborative effort between the UW-Madison's Delta Program (www.delta.wisc.edu ) and the Madison Area Technical College (MATC) was officially launched.
